Rat Race: Q&A With Victor Varnado

IGN caught up with Victor Varnado, a New York City comic who has been on Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Conan O'Brien, who is also working on the upcoming PLAYSTATION Network title, Rat Race.

Rat Race is simply put as a comedy-adventure game in third person view. The game is to come in episodes, with each being about three hours long, if you find all the hidden goods and such.

Each episode of the game is a collaboration. They wanted players to get the feeling of playing a sitcom such as NBC's The Office.

The game is a combination of cutscenes and emergent gameplay that blends nicely together. The player can interact with all of the characters in the world at any time, and the story isn't linear. The experience is deeper and more engaging than one might expect. You'll need to keep the controller in your hands for the vast majority of the experience.

Don't worry people, the game has nothing to do with the movie titled Rat Race. Varnado thought that was horrible as well.
