Rock Band Downloadble Content Coming to PLAYSTATION 3 Late

In an official post on the Rock Band forums, Harmonix Developer HMXSean revealed that due to the PLAYSTATION Store not having an update next week, the Rock Band DLC will come a week after schedule.

"Harmonix Developer

There will be DLC next week. An announcement will go out today or Monday.

Sony's offices are closed next week and the DLC will be postponed for a week until they come back (but they'll be back on schedule the following week when they get a double-dose of DLC awesomeness). It will go up in the Xbox Marketplace as regularly scheduled."
Hopefully, your presents will keep you occupied.

I was over at Kotaku checking stories and ran across this same information regarding Rock Band DLC coming a week after XBL.

It was horrible. A bunch of 360 loyalists crying "WE'RE BETTER THAN YOU ARE PS3 OWNERS!!!" just because they get three songs to download this week. I had no idea that downloading three more tracks onto Rock Band a whole 7 days before PS3 owners was such a hot topic.

Seriously, the idea that it will be late because Sony is closing their offices to allow their employees to celebrate the holidays is just stupid. We're talking 7 days. If it were two or three weeks than yes, by all means, flame on PS3 owners all you like but one week is hardly worth the effort.

Agreed to the above poster.

I do think though that Sony should provide updates daily, and get more videos and demos to us though.
