The official Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots website has updated today with some merchandise. The merchandise includes the Limited Edition Steel PlayStation 3, the actual game, the special edition of the game, a charge stand, and headphones, all branded with Metal Gear Solid 4.

The site reveals some pricing as well. The standard edition of the game will cost 8,800 Yen with the special edition cosing 9,900 Yene. The 40GB Steel PlayStation 3 will cost 51,800 Yen. Hopefully, these items will arrive in the Statest.

That means the special edition of the game will clock in at just under $100 ($99.58 to be specific) with the standard edition just $10 less.

But at 51,800 YEN that puts the full monty at $521, which isn't bad when you consider everything you're getting.

If Sony can bring that package here (which they probably won't) for $499 I think they'd do pretty well. The new color, a great exclusive title, lots of extras (not to mention the headset).

A few days earlier, I’d borrowed the library’s THE DISTRICT from 1970 that included an episode about a thieving youngster titled “The Pack Rat.” Like you, I can borrow up to seven THE DISTRICT DVD from the library for seven days, and now it’s easier to find a particular movie or TV show because the library staff has stuck special labels on the THE DISTRICT DVD COLLECTION cases and split them into a separate collection.
