Since there is no PlayStation Store update today, Sony felt the need to throw us something. So they gave us four new screenshots of the upcoming PlayStation Store revamp, and it is looking good. They say a video walkthrough should be coming next week. So slick, I can't wait.

Yeah the redesign is looking slick. I also heard that you wont using the mouse anymore which is a nice addition.
Can't wait for the video. I'm also hoping that it animates like the SingStar Store.
That may be a little nit-picky but with the power of the PS3 it would seem like a pretty easy feature to have. One thing I noticed is that the background doesn't animate like the SingStar Store. The background is the same in all the shots suggesting the image is static.
Not a huge deal but since it's emulating the SingStar Store it would be better if it flowed in the same way.
You never had to use the left analogue stick on the old design, dpad works much better. It's clearer which bit will be highlighted next when you push each direction with the new design though. Button responses should be more responsive too.
