G4TV: Haze Preview

Straight from G4TV.

Haze is currently "exclusive" to the PlayStation 3 and will most likely stay that way, but who knows in this topsy-turvy industry. Regardless of what platform(s) it ends up on, it looks pretty good.

We spoke with David Doak of Free Radical all about Haze. He talks about Nectar, the drug that augments the soldiers in the game, and the company that uses it: Mantel.

He also has some praise for the PlayStation 3 and assures us that the game will release in 2007 with co-op and multiplayer.

This will actually be interesting as it's only the second game to be released on the PS3 first and then ported over to the 360.

Has the developer taken advantage of anything the PS3 has to offer (HD resolution, extra space on the Blu-Ray disc, etc) or did they build this with limitations in mind knowing that they'll have to port the game over to the 360 sometime next year?

Either way it looks like an interesting game that I may check out but will probably rent first before plunking down $60 bucks for it.
