Christmas Is Over: What Did You Get?

Well, Christmas is nearly over (or over for some) and it's time to gather up your gifts and show them off to your friends. I myself received nothing but wads of cash (ching ching), gathering up around $600 in Kringle Christmas cash.

As suspected, news was low today due to the holiday season, but we did manage a few articles. It just saddens me to see subscribers drop due to a low amount of news on a certain day. Like I say over and over, not our faults.

Anyway, share your holiday gifts with us, whether its in pictures or text, we'd love to hear what you got this holiday.

Surfer Girl: SSX 5, Kane & Lynch 2, Team Ico, More

Surfer Girl is at it again. This time, she discusses thing such as SSX 5, Kane & Lynch 2 (oh no), Team Ico titles, and more. As usual, the numbers relating to the PLAYSTATION 3 are bolded below.

1) SSX 5 is dead, rivalry between PS360 snowboarding titles of Montreal studios still existent.
2) Mother/Earthbound series coming to Wii and/or DS stateside, very possibly next year.
3) Team Ico is working on two titles (maybe three), one major and the other(s) smaller. The smaller one(s) is/are more like Echochrome and does/do not take place inside the Ico canon.
4) Kane & Lynch 2 is still happening.
5) Also to look forward to next year is "Shrek going to unprecedented video game territory." Using skills of deduction, it is either a music title or a quality title. It is fairly obvious that the latter is definite no, so it probably a musical title.
6) Even more exciting unprecedented occurrence in interactive entertainment is the release of a new Leisure Suit Larry title and a new Sex & the City titles in the same year for mobile communication tools, computing devices and other things.
7) A2M is working on Indiana Jones for people who cannot stand to play consoles with the number three in the name.
8) EA's Wii Balance Board title ain't SSX.
9) Cyclomite is absolutely amazing.
10) When is Rage coming out?
Second half of 2009.
Well there you have it, news straight from Surfer Girl. I was looking forward to Rage though. Sad to see we have to wait so long.

Tales of Vesperia: Jump Festa 2008 Trailer

Namco Bandai unveiled Tales of Vesperia at the Jump Festa 2008 last weekend, currently without a console announced for the title. Due to the fact that the video is in 720p, it will probably be coming to next-gen consoles (meaning PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360). We will update you when we find out. For now, you can view the official site for the game below.
