Robert Bowling, a friend of mine from Infinity Ward, posted on the official Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare PLAYSTATION 3 forums that the PLAYSTATION Network will be having a downtime tomorrow from 8-10 am PST, which is 11 am - 1 pm EST time.
No word on what this downtime will be about, but hold off on your Call of Duty-ing for about three hours. You'll live.

Thanks for the info. Would be nice if Sony could have told us this, I imagine there will be a few people currently thinking they have modem/router problems etc.
