Midway Games today confirmed the rumored "Mortal Kombat 8" to be Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. It is a crossover game between the characters of Mortal Kombat and the characters of DC Comics. All we have now is a promotional image. We will update you when more arrives.

While I could say that they're biting on the Soul Calibur idea this is yet another crossover that I'm sure both parties involved are hoping will spring some new life into their respective franchises.
Still, should be interesting. Sonya Blade versus Wonder Woman? Sign me up.

WHY CANT THERE BE CAPCOM VS MARVEL 3!!!! i mean this mk vs dc thing is ridiculous.....
Trailer was actually pretty good. It'll be interesting to see what fatality Aquaman will have or if he'll have an "animality" and turn into a shark or killer whale or maybe a cute clown fish that can swallow you whole.
Either way, the DC universe never seems to get the credit it deserves while Marvel soaks up all the great deals. Although I could be argued that Marvel has better characters but that's a war that's been raging for years.
