Matt Ryan Announced Cover Athlete for PS3 NCAA Football 09

Electronic Arst has today unveiled that the NCAA Football 09 cover athelete for the PlayStation 3 version of the game will feature Matt Ryan from Boston College.

Electronic Arts have also announced they are pumping up some new and improved features in NCAA Football 09, one being Gameday Saturdays. They are trying to recreate the atmosphere of gameday. They've also expanded Dynasty Mode to support up to 12 players in head-to-head online leagues spanning up to 60 seasons.

NCAA 09: Debut Trailers

Electronic Arts has debuted NCAA 09 with the first two trailers. The trailers show some gameplay along with a bit of the online demonstration and such. This year may be the year Electronic Arts makes a sports game right on the PlayStation 3, and this one is looking good.

NCAA Football 09: New Screenshots, PlayStation 3 Version to Run at 60fps

In a new interview with Kendall Boyd, developer of the upcoming NCAA Football 09 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, he reveals that the PlayStation 3 version will run at 60fps this time, along with it's Xbox 360 brother. Last year, EA Sports games only ran at 30 fps on the PlayStation 3 due to their lack of knowledge on the console. This year, they got 60 frames up and running, Boyd even says the he can "guarantee it." Enjoy the new screenshots!

NCAA Football 09 Website Launches

Even though we are still in December 2007, the official website for NCAA Football 09 from EA Sports has launched. The site currently features previews of the upcoming BCS games using the NCAA Football engine.

This is the first time EA has launched a site for a title this early before it's release.
