WTF: Ubisoft Retracts Date for HAZE

Ubisoft has released a statement today stating to retract the date they released yesterday for their upcoming HAZE.

“Please note: Change to HAZE release date is MAY release,” said a spokesperson. “Confirmation of the release date soon.”
I know it is still in May, but Ubi, you've got to be kidding me.

*rolls on the floor laughing*

I'm glad I'm not waiting for this game.

also, blame Free Radical rather than Ubi, Ubi is the publisher.

Err, if they made a premature announcement then it is UBISOFT's fault.

And I don't know why everyone gets so worked up about release dates. Wait for the game to ACTUALLY release and you know.. pick it up? Are gamers so impatient or live such busy lives they must have rock solid release info months before it happens?

It's not that people are impatient but when a date for a high profile game gets pushed around so much it starts to get frustrating.

I'm close to boycotting this game and just telling both Ubi and Free Radical to give it up and start working on something else. The game will probably suck after all the "no it's not ready yet" mumbo-jumbo.

First it was supposed to be released in like October or September of last year and here we are almost 7 months later and the game has yet to materialize. That's cause for frustration.

At one point I had this on my "must have" list but I'm going rental without a doubt now.

Sorry but you're stupid if 'frustration' dictates whether you find a game enjoyable or not.

It's like people play news nowadays, not the games. Ridiculous.

This game isn't even on my rent list, it's basically them trying to make a "halo killer" because they believe halo is amazing, and then the story doesn't even seem all that interesting, use drugs to alter your perception of battle, and then rise up against the people you once worked for, where has this happened before? hmm gee, IT'S HAPPENED EVERYWHERE!!!, it's a overused story trait, but some pieces of media can pull it off with other supporting pillars like, likable character, love to hate villains, and amazing events, one thing that comes to mind that pulls this off greatly is, METAL GEAR. The game series is great and has this story trait in it's underlining( one of it's many, underlinings) and it's one of the most successful game series out there, but that just pisses me off more, that that's all Free Radical is going for, Ripping off others ideas, no new ones at all. This game is utter crap, and i'll have nothing to do with it.

hey umm, Admin, perhaps this can be my first story lol, of course i'll add to it for an actual article.

Shibbs, wow judging a game before it's released, have you played this yet? If not then GTFO. We don't need your kind here.
