Yakuza 3: First Day Sales In Japan

Well Yakuza: Kenzan! has shipped in Japan, and it's first day sales did fantastic. Yakuza: Kenzan! came out on top that day selling 113k copies. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, which was also released in Japan on the same day, came out selling only 3k.

Let's hope Yakuza 3 will come stateside now.

PlayStation 3 Releases for the Week of March 2, 2008

Well, it looks like we have a pretty good week of releases heading towards us. Army of Two is finally releasing, I'll be sure to pick that up. Asian territories are finally getting Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. I'm sure they will be hooked on that for a while. Lets take a look at this week's releases.

Well, Asian territories are also receiving Yakuza 3, which we are going to have to wait for. Considering the fact SEGA is bringing Yakuza 2 to the US, it's likely Yakuza 3 will arrive here as well. Enjoy your releases.

Yakuza 3: The Famitsu Review of 37/40

The latest Famitsu review scores are in, and Yakuza: Kenzan! did phenomenal. It scored 9's across the reviewers and one 10 giving it a 37/40. Now we just need to hope this bad boy comes to US. With the recent announcement of Yakuza 2 coming, I wouldn't doubt it.

Japan Receiving New Satan Silver PLAYSTATION 3 Bundle

Yes, that is right, Japan gets yet another new color for their PLAYSTATION 3 line-up. This new 40GB PLAYSTATION 3 bundle comes bundled with Yakuza: Kenzan! (Yakuza 3) and retailes for ¥47,040 (US $441).

The bunlde will only be available for a limited time however. It is a must have for Yakuza fans.

Yakuza: Kenzan!: New Famitsu Scan

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine features new scans of Yakzua: Kenzan! for the PLAYSTATION 3. This title is currently in development by Sega of Japan. Like Valkyrie of the Battlefield, hopefully, this will come stateside as well.

Yakuza: Kenzan! Demos Now on Japanese PLAYSTATION Network

For those of you that have Japanese accounts, you may want to head over to your PLAYSTATION Store, because the two Yakuza: Kenzan! demos we mentioned a few days back are now available for download.

Yakuza 3: Two New Scans

Some new scans of SEGA's upcoming PLAYSTATION 3 exclusive title, Yakuza: Kenzan! have just been unleashed on the internet. I don't know about you, but I cannot wait until this title comes the the US.

Yakuza: Kenzan! Demo Coming to Japan PLAYSTATION Store This Month

Sinobi's blog tells us that Sega of Japan is releasing a demo of the upcoming Japan release of Yakuza: Kenzan! this month. They are trying to get out two demos because there is apparently a 1GB size limit for demos on the PLAYSTATION Network (weird, since The Club demo was about 1.7GB).

The first demo covers the prologue of the game's story mode. The second demo will let you travel through a bit of the adventure portion of the game that you know the series for.

They also mentioned the game is going to support HDD installation (optional of course), and if you install it, it will take up about 3-4GB of space on your PLAYSTATION 3.

A new advertisement for the upcoming Japan release of Yakuza: Kenzan! has just surfaced upon Japanese TVs. This new title is set to release in Japan on March 6, 2008.
