The Witcher for Consoles Going Good

CD Projekt today revealed that they are working on a console port of The Witcher, bringing truth to the rumor we heard a while back. They said the console port is making excellent progress, but they have not given us a specific launch date. At least we know it is coming.

More proof: Their job openings show they need a PlayStation 3 programmer.

Alone In The Dark: Five New Gameplay Videos

The more gameplay we see of Atari's Alone In the Dark, the sadder inside we get due to the fact that this is coming to the PlayStation 3 in the Fall while the other console versions are coming out much earlier. Oh, how we hope Phil Harrison gets that extra content in. For now, enjoy these new gameplay videos.

Alone in the Dark for PlayStation 3 May Have Additional Content

Unlike it's PS2, Xbox 360, and Wii cousins, the PlayStation 3 version of Alone in the Dark will be coming out in Fall 2008. Eden Studios wanted to adapt it instead of just porting it. They say that additional content may come to the PlayStation 3 version (due to it's later release). A demo will come close to the game's release. Good to see they are not just throwing together a crappy port. Go Eden!

Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit: Low Amount of Characters, Stages

It seems the first Dragon Ball Z game to hit next generation consoles will be a a small one. In a new interview with Donny Clay, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit producer at Atari, he reveals some more information on the game.

The story takes place from the beginning of the Saiyan Saga to the end of th Cell Saga, following mostly an existing narrative. Clay compares the game to the Budokai series a couple of years back.

The thing is, the amount of characters and stages are going to be small. According to Donny Clay, there will be only 21 characters and a (very weak) 5 stages.

N+ Coming to the PlayStation Network.....In a While

In a new interview with N+ creators, Metanet, they confirmed a PlayStation Network version of the game is definately in the works. However, we may have to wait a while before we are jumping off walls like crazy. "Yes, however due to an exclusivity clause in our XBLA contract, it may not be for a while."

An Atari producer stated that they are excited to work on the PlayStation Network in the future due to the freedom it gives developers."The PSN has fewer restrictions on their incoming content (likely because it's struggling to catch up to the well-established XBLA) but again, on the PSN right now the indie designer has far more freedom to create the game that they imagine, whatever the size and shape."

Hopefully when N+ arrives, we will have some exclusive content along with that.
