Electronic Arts plans to bring in some "extensions" for it's Skate and Burnout series says Electronic Arts president Frank Gibeau. He also states a sequel for Mass Effect is in the works as well, but did not state which consoles.
What could the Skate extension be? The developers already stated they built the game with no DLC in mind. We will find out sooner or later.

SKATE: No DLC Content Coming
EA is known for tossing out a bunch of downloadable content for all it's games, especially on Xbox Live. It seems with SKATE though, thats not the situation.
"[We're] not planning any new content for Skate 1 ... We didn't want to go back and ask [people] for more money to get more shoes and shirts," said EA Black Box Executive Producer Scott Blackwood in an Afterthoughts interview featured in latest issue of EGM. "That's not how we wanted to enter this market."
Blackwood also touched upon the lack of female characters. "We really wanted women to be in there and have all sorts of cool stuff to wear and hairstyles," he said. "You have to choose between watering the whole thing down and making it just really mediocre for everybody, or do you focus? We decided to focus. I will say, however, that was the hardest decision on this project. But we are going to make it up to you. When we do it -- and we will -- it's going to be done very well."

SKATE Framerate Petition Starts at EA Forums
A petition over at EA forums has been started for EA to resolve the terrible framerate issues that plague 'SKATE' on the PLAYSTATION 3.
EA in an effort to use the PS3's extra power decided to up the graphics for the PS3 version, however there plan backfired as the framerate issues actually make the game unenjoyable, and at times unplayable.
If you own SKATE and want to get things fixed, head over to the forums and give it a sign, you never know if your going to sign on one day to see an update available.

Skate: The Moon Ollie
Someone over at EA.com has managed to do around a 15 foot Ollie in skate. It's actually pretty amazing and I want to know it's secret. Give the video a watch.

Skate Demo: The Truth Behind the Delay
Over at the PlayStation.Blog's latest post on their Store update, many users were complaining about the lack of a Skate demo. Patrick Seybold responded to their complaints:
"Thanks for the feedback everyone. Glad you are enjoying the variety of content going up every week. So, EA Games basically lied when they said that the demo was sent 3 weeks ago.[Via PlayStation.Blog]I have to confirm this, but contrary to popular reports, I believe that the Skate demo was just officially submitted to us for test last week. Its obvious that many of you want it, and we’ll do our best to get it up there as soon as we can. Hold tight."

IGN Skate for PlayStation 3 Review Biased?
Yesterday, we posted the Skate review from IGN, who gave the Xbox 360 version a 9.0/10 and the PlayStation 3 version an 8.8/10 the only difference being the Xbox 360's graphics got an 8.0 while the PlayStation 3's got a 7.0. St0 over at the PS3Forums brought up a point I brought up while posting the article, the graphics on the PlayStation 3 are better. Lets take a look at a a comparison.
As you can see, the Xbox 360 version is more pixelated in the area circle. We have many more comparison screenshots that are pretty self-explanatory. Take a look.

IGN Reviews Skate: 9 for 360, 8.8 for PS3
Is it just me? Or are you tired of Xbox 360 always having the upper hand on multiplatform games. What was the little flaw that caused this? Apparently the PlayStation 3's graphics for the game have "Lots of aliasing and blurring mix with some spotty framerate issues. San Vanelona is still a hot city, but it has some zits." while the Xbox 360's graphics for the game have "Great details in the environments and the character models are solid. The ragdoll physics make every bail look delightfully painful." To tell the truth, I really noticed no difference in the game graphics when that comparison video was posted. Anyway, watch the review above or read it at the link below.

Skate: PlayStation 3 vs. Xbox 360 Comparison
You know how it goes, another multiplatform game, and another comparison video, it's the way the next gen wars revolve. Anyway, I don't really see much of a difference here, but thats for you to decide I guess. Enjoy.
