Race Driver: GRID PlayStation 3 vs. Xbox 360 Comparison Is Fishy

Here is yet another comparison for an anticipated upcoming game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Race Driver: GRID. They both look almost exactly the same, but I noticed at the end when they changed from PlayStation 3 to Xbox 360, the buttons at the bottom for the PlayStation 3 stayed. What is GameTrailers up to? Or is it just a mistake?

Update 12:10AM: GameTrailers have taken down the video.

Update 9:24AM: A gamer has gotten it up on YouTube showing the lies of the video. It came from this discussion thread.

Grand Theft Auto IV Load Times: So This Is What It Comes To

Here is yet another comparison for Grand Theft Auto IV, this time comparing load times. It seems, according to the video and some commenters of the video who have "confirmed" it, that the PlayStation 3 has two more loading images than the Xbox 360 does, which is bad. You'd think the mandatory 3.5GB install would of made it faster. Guess not, if the video is to be believed of course.

Grand Theft Auto IV: GT PS3 vs. Xbox 360 Comparison

The GameTrailers comparison for the two versions of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV Is now up. There seems to be some good and some bad differences between the two. If you notice on the PlayStation 3 version, the GetaLife building pops-in, then out, such as that glitch in the Steinway Beer Garden. Rockstar should fix that. You decide for yourself, however.

Grand Theft Auto IV: PS3 vs. Xbox 360 Pop-In Comparison

The comparisons keep on coming. A new comparison for Grand Theft Auto IV on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 focus on the pop-ins, meaning the things that come into focus as you get closer rather than already be there when you are farther. By the looks of the trees in the helicopter ride, the Xbox 360 version has more pop-ins (pretty sure that is a bad thing) .

Grand Theft Auto IV: PS3/360 GamerSyde Comparison

A new video has gone up at GamerSyde showing a side-by-side comparison of Grand Theft Auto IV on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It's really hard to tell the difference, however. Take a look at the video at the link and you be the judge.

Grand Theft Auto IV vs. Mafia II: Graphics

It's clear that Grand Theft Auto IV is going to be one of the most epic games of 2008. Many people are forgetting our Italian brothers over in Mafia II. I actually enjoyed the first game and am looking forward to the second, probably because I'm Italian.

PC Games have done a graphics comparison of both titles. It's clear who the winner is, but I'll let you decide.

Devil May Cry 4: PLAYSTATION 3 vs. Xbox 360 Demo Comparison

It's actually pretty weird. Devil May Cry 4, which was once a PLAYSTATION 3 exclusive and the lead console platform, has better texturing and aliasing on the Xbox 360 version of the game even though it's a port. These differences are shown in the hair, face, and such. The pictures in the link below are from the demo released on both online services today.

Turok: Really This Bad on the PLAYSTATION 3?

In an interview, I recall the developers of Turok saying they are going to make both versions of the game nearly identical. This new comparison from the Turok demo on both consoles by a GT Forums member shows otherwise.

To the left is the Xbox 360 version of the game, while on the right is the PLAYSTATION 3 version. See the difference? It's not quite hard to spot, considering the 360 version displays numerous amounts of textures and patterns, while the PLAYSTATION 3 version looks like a semi-enhanced PS2 game.

We're contacting Propaganda to see what they have on this.

Dynasty Warriors 6: PLAYSTATION 3 vs. Xbox 360

A GameTrailers comparison for KOEI's upcoming Dynasty Warriors 6 was released today. Although the PLAYSTATION 3 version does look a bit bad compared to the Xbox 360 version, you must remember GT has been known not to set their settings right on the PLAYSTATION 3.

Game Comparison's Being Mislead?

I came across this new video on TechBugTV today. It shows two different screen modes on the PLAYSTATION 3, one being Full RGB and the other being Limited. All PLAYSTATION 3's are set to limited apparently.

Sites like GameTrailers always show the PLAYSTATION 3 version of the game as washed out. This video claims its because they have their settings wrong, and the screen should be set to Full RGB with Super-White on. The difference in Assassin's Creed really does show.

I'd confirm this for you, but I'm on vacation as of now and visiting my father. So perhaps you guys could confirm this?

MX vs. ATV: Untamed: PLAYSTATION 3 vs. Xbox 360

The comparison of the two console version of MX vs. ATV: Untamed is one not so different. The graphics in this game aren't that good to begin with. If anything, it's anyones race.

The Orange Box: PLAYSTATION 3 vs. Xbox 360

GameTrailers compares all five games from Valve & EA's The Orange Box for the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360. The difference isn't really in graphics, but in framerate. Thats where EA messed up.

Burnout Paradise Demo: PLAYSTATION 3 vs. Xbox 360

GamerSyde has done another of it's PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 side-by-side comparisons. This time, it's Burnout Paradise, running at 60fps. Can you tell which is smoother?

Portal: PLAYSTATION 3 vs. Xbox 360

The Orange Box for the PLAYSTATION 3 releases today, so whats great to see is some comparisons. All I really noticed about Portal, which they say is near identical to the Xbox 360 counter-part, is that the loading times suck compared to the other version. Blame EA for that.

Beowulf: PLAYSTATION 3 vs Xbox 360 Comparison

The PLAYSTATION 3 vs Xbox 360 comparison is one that will never stop. The gap between consoles continues to grow thinner as you really can't tell the difference, graphic wise, between the two Beowulf versions. Enjoy.

GameTrailers: Assassin's Creed PS3 vs. 360 Comparison

Here is yet another comparison of the two Assassin's Creed. As we see every other comparison, they seem to change, last time the PLAYSTATION 3 had a lighter interface, now the Xbox 360 does. It's weird.

Assassin's Creed: PLAYSTATION 3 vs. Xbox 360

GamerSyde has provided us with a very short but noticeable comparison of the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 version of Ubisoft Montreal's newly released game, Assassin's Creed. If you'll notice, the PLAYSTATION 3 version is much lighter than the Xbox 360 version.

KillerSnake from the SonyProtectionGroup has provided us with some PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 comparison images. The Xbox 360 images are on the left and PLAYSTATIOn 3 images on the right. Enjoy.

Note: This is a very bad comparison, I know, but it's the only one available at the moment till someone gets brave and makes one of their own. =]
