Whats up readers? How have you been this weekend? Oh, good to hear. You know how I've been? I've been sick since Thusday, with a 104.4 fever. It's not really that bad, it's lowered to a 99.4 by today. The thing I can't stand is the constant sneezing, coughing, and nose drippings. Yeah, it can get annoying.

Anyway, about the new site, it may take a bit longer than earlier said, we found some bugs in the site we need to fix, and I still need to send out for my hosting. We will keep you updated.

I've said this before, and it's kind of odd. We never get any news flow on the weekend, nothing ever happens, you know? Its a pattern too, check our archives, weekend have at most 15 articles. It's weird.

Night Note: New Site Launching A Week Later Than Expected

Alright, time to give you guys a little site update on thew new site. I've managed to get the site looking almost similar in both browsers with only little differences, which I'm currently fixing up. I should get the hosting account up next week, so expect the site by at least Sunday.

I don't know whats going on with these slow post days. It seems every time only a few articles are posted a day, we lose a lot of subscribers. I've said it a million times my fellow readers, it's not my fault that there isn't much news for your PLAYSTATION 3 needs on that day.

The opening of the new site will contain the reviews for NBA 2K8, Buzz! The Mega Quiz, Contra 4, Call of Duty 4, and Time Crisis 4. As we start to get noticed day by day, we will have up reviews for Rock Band, Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, and Spiderman: Friend of Foe within a few weeks after the site's opening. And of course, we will recycle our PLAYSTATION Network article on the new site for viewing purposes, hopefully getting Sony's attention.

Anyway, the news of November 24 only contained a mere thirteen articles, but we can't say they weren't interesting. What really caught my attention was the Syphon Filter for the PLAYSTATION 3 along with the Far Cry series coming to the console as well. Odd, as Surfer Girl has stated this all before.

If you guys managed to pick up the first issue of PLAYSTATION: The Official Magazine, leave your thoughts on the new magazine. I think it's very well designed, but the first issue is a little outdated if you ask me. Hopefully issue two will bring on more delicacies. Let's take a look at today's news.

There is something about weekends that bring the site down, because weekends are always light on news. We're waiting for that big thing to happen the days we have off and then it's nothing. We only had some 12 articles Sunday, and 7 Saturday, it's really a shame.

Anyway, besides that, work for the new site has been going well, but I'm just having trouble doing what I want to do with one of the sidebars, so if anybody here is an expert at CSS and HTML and possibly Wordpress and want to help, shoot me an e-mail.

I'm going to act FBI today and call our upcoming site and move from onAXIS "DT". As you know, I've been working on the template, which has been acting like kind of a bitch. I've managed to fix through most of the major bugs in the template I'm creating.

Right now, I'm working on a gray theme for it, but if you would like to suggest other colors for the site, go ahead and comment it in. If your going to suggest colors, make sure it's more than one and goes good together.

Okay, I've been trying to get this new site's design ready, but with WordPress, I don't make themes, I edit them from others. And none of these themes I can find are really suitable of editing. I've found someone who can make the theme for the site but he is asking for cold hard dough, which I sadly do not have.

Night Note: What Really Grinds My Gears

I have a few feelings to share with you today. First off, a good one. I've been watching CW's new series, Reaper, since episode one, and I love it so far. The whole idea of it, the way they need to capture the escaped souls, it's very creative. You should check it out. As a matter of fact, here is a trailer below.

Secondly, through N4G's Tips section, I've come across a MySpace web blog known as GamesBlow. Now, I'm all for expressing yourself and such, but if you take a look at the "General" section in "GamesBlow Interests", it says "Being unbiased about videogames". If you look at their blog, they are clearly biased. It just annoys me, even though the site is biased against the Xbox 360 and Wii, it's just annoying to see someone write like that. You get what I mean?

Yeah, I'm including subjects from now on.

The most ironic thing happened today. I went out to meet up with a friend of mine who works at GameStop. He told me of the store down the street, Game Planet, got a new banner. So I happen to know the guys over there too. So I go say whats up to my buddies Chao and George and I notice they have a new copy of The Godfather: The Don's Edition behind the counter for only $29.99.

Me, forgetting my wallet at my house, decided I'd have them hold it and I'll pick it up tomorrow. So I do that. I had the game for PS2, but sold it before I ever completed it.

I come home, realize the store has been updated, and post it. And look at what add-ons we receive. They were all for The Godfather: The Don's Edition, isn't that ironic? I'm planning on buying that Don Collection for $7.49 that comes with the payed items and free items.

I guess if you ever watched Family Guy, you can agree with me, The Don really does give out cake. Anyway, take a look at todays stories.

Night Note: Hallows Eve & A Bag of Chips

Whoever said your too old to go trick or treating? My cousin is having a kid, and he still goes out to score some of that tooth rotting goodness. Whoever is going tomorrow, reply with an "I".

Last year, I went trick or treating with some friends and we rang an old man's house, and he opened the door and gave us a piece of paper that said "Bag of Chips". We thought it was pretty funny. But some old people don't know how to take or make jokes.

A new firmware for the PSP was released today, 3.72. The interesting thing about it was the global remote play included with it required firmware 2.00 for the PLAYSTATION 3, so I'm happy that it's coming soon.

Anyway, if you got your costumes and want to share pictures or just who your being for tomorrow's event, go ahead and comment it. I'm going formal for tomorrow's event, call me a Mafioso if you like, or simply Don.

Night Note: Slow Day, Enchanted Thoughts

Wow, some Saturday today was. You'd figure we'd be loaded with news, but look at that, 9 articles. Hopefully we'll have more gaming news come tomorrow.

I've been noticing a pattern lately, whenever there is around 20-25 articles a day on the site, the level of subscribers to the site goes up, but whenever there is a low amount like 10-15 articles a day, the level of subscribers drops. It's as if we are getting less reliable by the day.

Wake up, it's not our fault there isn't that much news on that day. If there was more, trust me, we'd give it to you. So don't drop us just because you don't see much news for that day.

I've been thinking about getting Enchanted Arms recently. I'm not one to follow much of the big critic reviews. I've been in the RPG mood recently and I figured it's only $20.00 at GameStop, so I will be picking it up soon.

We are still trying to think of a name for the new site, so if you want to send in your thoughts, read this. Every name is appreciated and considered.

Night Note: The onAXIS Situation

As you've noticed, we have a partner site, onXBOX, opening soon all about the latest news in 360 gaming. I've been thinking about the situation.

I figured instead of launching another separate site, why not open the new site, powered by WordPress (will be heavily modded to have the best functionality and user friendliness), covering the latest in all three gaming console news? And for those who prefer to stick to one console, there will be three seperate pages on the site, one known as onAXIS, another as onXBOX, and another as onWII.

The only thing right now that is stopping me from launching the site is a custom WordPress theme (which I will get to work on designing very soon, once I decide the color scheme), and a name for the new site. I very much like Japanese terms so I would want it to relate to that.

So, I figured, why not have the users of the current site, onAXIS decide? Please, send me an e-mail of what you think might be a good site name. Try not to include the word "GAME" in the site name. Lets try and be unique. Our e-mail is: admin@onaxisonline.com

Well, it may not be a good day so far for news on gaming, but it's a heck of a day for me. I have to complete an essay for my Global studies class, try out the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue demo, and watch for the 14th time in a row.

Night Note: Transform & Roll Out!

It's a great day when you pick up two things that have relevance with each other that you absolutely love. Thats what I did.

I picked up Transformers on special 2-disc edition DVD today and after watching it for the ninth time, I'm still not tired of it. It's also quite entertaining messing with the transformable Optimus Prime DVD case. I was also able to pick up Transformers: The Game on the PLAYSTATION 3 for a mere $15. How did I get it so cheap? Some guy was selling it at GameStop and they would only give him $14, so I anted up.

Playing the game, I realized it's not really as bad as the scores it's getting. I won't go too in-depth, because I'm going to write a review up for it sooner or later.

If you guys noticed, I redesigned the site quite a bit, mainly font changes, and such. I think it looks better like this. I removed the shoutbox as well and added a much better IRC chat. It will probably always be empty, but at least its there.

I've been thinking about moving onAXIS soon to a hosted blog with my own money, but am still trying to gather a few things before I do this. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it yet, so expect about a month wait if anything is going to happen.

Anyway, thats all for tonight, I'm about to catch some z's, so I can get up a minute earlier than usual.

Night Note: Digital Life 2007 Awaits

What game have you been thinking about the "fun" level of recently? I've been thinking of Unreal Tournament III and Army of Two. But tomorrow, I will be thinking of a different game.

Tomorrow, me and my buddies are heading down to the Jacob K. Javitts Center in New York City to the Digital Life convention. Apparently, this is the only convention we could ever go to due to nobody giving us free tickets for E3 or the Tokyo Game Show.

There are two games I'm interested in playing at this event, and thats The Eye of Judgment and Guitar Hero III. Yes, thats right. I will be taking video and picture to provide you guys with, but don't mind the crappy quality of the video, using a cell phone.

Last year while I was at the event, I remember playing the latest Pro Evolution Soccer on the PlayStation 2 and getting my first try at the PlayStation 3 with NBA 07 and it was a great experience.

I met Jason Mewes at the event last year at the AlienWare booth. If you don't know who he is, he is Jay from Jay & Silent Bob. Anyway, I basically cut the whole 200 person line and got my autograph and picture in like 2 minutes. Me and my buddy also met Cliffy B. who was there checking out the show with two gorgeous women. I wonder what celebrity (if there is one) will be there this year.

Anyway, we may be late on news tomorrow do to the visit to the event, but we will let you know whats going on in this Digital Life. Hopefully some Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.

Hey, another day note coming for you. Trying to get more into the habit of doing this, so get used to it. =]

Anyway, today was cool, played some pool, and chilled out. I went to my local GameStop today. I know a guy who works there, so he dropped me the demo for Ratchet & Clank, and it's very great. I don't want to ruin it for you because tomorrow I will be posting impressions on it.

I was thinking about buying High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition, not sure if it's good though, on the fact that there are no reviews out yet. If you guys can drop me a tip on it's value, go ahead, it'd be appreciated.

Night Note: School Starts in New York

Before I start anything, I saw that Brian Crecente on Kotaku does these, and it's a pretty cool idea. So I figured I'd start my own entries.

Anyway, school started today in New York, so it was back to school for me, which meant less updates on the site today (sorry). I'm still looking for writers to come along and post so we can become the top PlayStation blog.

I was thinking of maybe converting the software to WordPress once evey thing gets rising up. None of the news posts will be deleted since you can just use it's built in converter to do all that. But we will talk about that when I get hosting and a good domain.

Anyway, school was pretty good, had some nice classes, good teachers, threw some paper here and there (we are all kids inside), and waited for the city bus and headed straight home. Thats about it for today. Remember, we need writers! Come and help the onAXIS blog!
