A story of Customer Support gone bad. A PLAYSTATION 3 owner's PS3 stopped working one day, it wouldn't read discs at all and it took a while to eject them. So he calls up Sony, who says he needs a receipt when it was a gift, after three hours, they finally said he didn't need one.
He received a box, and sent it in, and checked up on it about five days later. He called them up and they tell him that the PLAYSTATION 3 is too dirty to be replaced. The PLAYSTATION 3 has sat in his media center for the past eight months.
I don't know about you, but my PLAYSTATION 3 gets pretty dusty from time to time, so I brush it off, and put it back. But the PLAYSTATION 3 is a natural dust magnet, so to not replace it because of that is really a stupid thing.

OMFG! It gets dusty! And by neglecting to clean it, my PS3 can break! And they won't repair it! ZOMG, I must sue!!11111!
In case you missed the sarcasm, I was being sarcastic. The keyterm in the ENTIRE argument the idiot portrayed is 'neglect'. Neglect is an action of the OWNER, not the COMPANY. The warranty covers any and all TECHNICAL problems that are caused by the console, whether with glitches or whatever. If it breaks because of YOU, it's your own damn fault so why should Sony have to shell out a brand new PS3 to someone who obviously doesn't respect it?
Clean your systems. People have been doing it since the 80s, so get used to it.
