As part of its weekly Thursday update to the PlayStation Store, Sony will launch Go! Sports Ski for the low, low price of $2.99. The skiing title is being developed by Yuke's Media Creations, the studio most famous for its SmackDown vs. RAW franchise.
In my opinion, for a price of $2.99, it is a definite buy, thats a low price of what seems to be a pretty much descent game.

Games Radar wrote an article on why Level 5's upcoming White Knight Story will be the RPG to own come it's release. They start:
View the rest at the link below.1) Let's get straight to the point: it's got seven-metre tall knights smacking the shit out of each other. That's taller than Shaq and about the same size as a Predator. We're sold already
2) Level-5's excellent RPG pedigree consists of Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2 in the US), Dragon Quest VIII: The Journey of the Cursed King and Rogue Galaxy, as well as the Jeanne D'Arc on PSP. So it's bound to be good - we'd put money on it.

Hey it's not all bad news with the Unreal Tournament III delay, at least we are able to get all the PC maps, right?
But here is more good news. Midway has confirmed a new Blitz & Mortal Kombat:
"We also expect to release several as-yet unannounced titles such as next generation versions of our hit franchises Blitz and Mortal Kombat, and two exciting new ambitious open world games," said David F. ZuckerThough there is no word on the intended platforms, it will most likely be for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Straight from GameDaily BIZ.
Last week, one of GameDaily BIZ's sources close to Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) informed us that there had recently been a "breach of security" in Sony's PlayStation Network (PSN). Our source indicated that one of SCEA's employees was actually tricked over the phone into giving out this important access to the network.
With our curiosity piqued we contacted SCEA and the company did confirm that there was indeed a problem. Kimberly Otzman, Corporate Communications, said that it really shouldn't be considered a "security breach," however, because a hacker did not physically break into the network.
Otzman explained, "Just to clarify, there has been no hacking or electronic breach to any of SCEA's electronic security systems. An as-yet-unidentified PSN user impersonating an SCEA IT employee apparently called customer service agents in order to gain unauthorized access to two PSN user accounts not belonging to the imposter. The unauthorized accessing of the two accounts was discovered immediately after it took place, the unauthorized access was disabled, and the account-holders were notified."
While it's unfortunate that an SCEA employee could actually be persuaded to give out sensitive customer information, Otzman reassured us that actions were taken before any financial damage could take place, and SCEA is taking further steps to rectify the situation.
"No consumer experienced any financial loss or damage. In response to the incident, SCEA immediately enhanced its customer service protocol, implementing additional security safeguards, and began an intensive investigation of the incident that remains ongoing," she said.

Today, Mark Rein tells us that Unreal Tournament III may be out in December. But it's not all bad news:
"Yes, there is a chance it will come out in December. That means more maps, and custom maps, I don't know about you, but I could wait.
In addition there is some good news as well. A little extra time in development means that now the PS3 version will have all of the same maps as the PC version which wasn’t previously expected to be the case."

Sad news today, as we report that Midway's Unreal Tournament III has been moved to a 2008 release, according to their press release:
"The changes are primarily to reflect Midway's decision to release Stranglehold for the PLAYSTATION® 3 computer entertainment system in the fourth quarter rather than the third quarter, the expected movement of Unreal Tournament 3 for the PLAYSTATION 3 system into the first quarter of fiscal 2008, and lower expected sales of BlackSite: Area 51 primarily due to the adverse impact of the split shipment between the Xbox 360 and the PLAYSTATION 3 system, with the European version of BlackSite: Area 51 for the PLAYSTATION 3 system shifting into the first quarter of 2008."I have had visions of November, and those visions have just disappeared. Hopefully Mark Rein of the Epic Forums will shed some light on this.
"As a public company, Midway felt an obligation to its shareholders to let them know about the possibility of a delay. But our goal is still to get the PS3 version of UT3 in stores before the end of 2007. However, we will only ship it once it’s ready and is the best game we can deliver. The PC version is still on track for a November release."Hopefully the November release is still looking good. If not November, then December, if not that, early 2008.

A rumor about Grand Theft Auto IV being released this month has just been crushed. SPOnG decided to put in a call to Rockstar on the off chance some development miracle has happened and were told, in no uncertain terms, "It's coming out in Spring next year." Sony's website, then, bears either old information or a straightforward administrative error.
That is exactly what I said in the post. One point for onAXIS.

Tipsters are good people. Thanks to him, Engadget has a couple of Best Buy documents showing a $399 Playstation 3 with 40GB disk and Spiderman 3 on Blu-Ray bundle with an "In Stock Date" of October 28, 2007.
The model name of the supposed PlayStation 3, CECHG01, is not listed anywhere in the documents though. This could be fake and is still not confirmed by Sony.
