Steven Spielberg's Boom Blox May Go Multiplatform

Steven Spielberg is currently working on a game titled Boom Blox for the Nintendo Wii. The game has Wii-specific controls, but Electronic Arts mentions that they are thinking about bringing the game to other consoles such as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Amir Rahimi, the game's senior producer tells us.

"There's definitely the potential to go to other consoles. Our mindset, our philosophy was that we didn't want to taint our thinking by taking any other console into account. The way we saw it we wanted to make this the most authentic Wii experience that it could possibly be. So we didn't think about the PC, DS, PS3 or Xbox 360. We're still very much in the mindset of finishing this game. But once it's over the sky's the limit. There's definitely the possibility of going to other consoles."
Who knows, Boom Blox could come to our system in HD.

Final Fantasy VII Director Speaks on Chance of A Remake

The United States wants a Final Fantasy VII remake, Japan wants one, and so does the rest of the world. What are the chances of this actually happening though? Let's hear what Square Enix's Yoshinori Kitase, director of the Final Fantasy VII on the PSone we all know and love, has to say about it.

"My feelings are that if a remake were to work well then all the core members of the original team must be reassembled, all the artists and designers.

The problem is that, although all of us have an idea of what a remake should be and how to do it, organising such a thing right now is logistically very difficult. All the different members are now involved in very new, very large projects like Final Fantasy XIII and those projects are going to take a while.

Maybe, when all those games are finished then we can look at doing something like that.

Of course, that said we came up with the idea for Crisis Core in just two days. It was a case of 'this is what we want to do, so let's do it'. So, you can definitely expect the probability of something spontaneous happening at some point, but it's hard to predict."
He's said this before. Square Enix loves remakes, you can tell by all the remakes you see on the DS. You can bet this will eventually come. It is the smartest thing they can do.

Grand Theft Auto IV Gets Toned Down by Conan O' Brien

A recent Late Night with Conan O'Brien revealed that Grand Theft Auto IV is very toned down from it's earlier games. It's tone has been fixed up due to criticism. Don't get what I'm saying? Watch the video. It certainly is much more polite this time around.

Ben Gleck and His Idiotic Grand Theft Auto IV CNN Rant

It's pretty sad w hen you see people like this guy come around. One of those anti-gamers who think video games are going to destroy the world. Although at the beginning I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not. He tells that Rockstar's newly released Grand Theft Auto IV is training our kids to be killers, and treat women like whores. He says that it took many years to train the army to kill, and today, it will cost only $60. I laughed.
