Heroes: The Game In Development?

According to Surfer Girl (the girl with the inside scoop, it never gets old), a Heroes video game is in the making.

This was actually one of our questions to her, as I am a big fan of the Heroes TV show. If you thought a video game for LOST was good, then you get a double stuffed cake.

Surfer Girl doesn't reveal anything on the game, but just simply says a game is in the making. It will most likely hit the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360.

Sega: No Plans for a Virtua Fighter 5 PS3 Patch

You'd think that Sega would be kind to the PLAYSTATION 3 owners of Virtua Fighter 5, but it seems not. First off, Sega released the once exclusive title on the Xbox 360. Then, Sega releases a patch that improves the gameplay of the game both offline and online on the Xbox 360 version as well.

You think they'd throw us a bone? According to Sega's Jay Boor, "at this time SEGA has no plans to release a patch for the PS3 version of Virtua Fighter 5."

There is always Virtua Fighter 6.

V-Jump: Two Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit Scans

Seems with all the hype surrounding the new scans for Final Fantasy XIII & Versus XIII, we missed these two new scans of Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit from V-Jump. The two new scans, obtained from eNe3, show characters Gohan and Piccolo. Enjoy!

Team ICE Runs Unsigned Code on PLAYSTATION 3

Team ICE of the PS3Hax website have finally cracked a code in the PLAYSTATION 3. They have found a way of running self made codes on the PLAYSTATION 3 through Resistance: Fall of Man on the latest firmware (2.10).

The video shown above shows their current progress. This could soon develop into homebrew and possibly more. Enjoy.

Final Fantasy XIII & Versus XII Latest V-Jump Scans Translated

The guys over at FinalFnatasy-XIII.net managed to translate the newly released V-Jump scans of Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII released a bit earlier this week. The scans show the background story of the game as well as some of the summons in Final Fantasy XIII such as Ifrit. The Versus XIII scans just describe the new characters seen in the latest trailer at the Jump Festa.

The PLAYSTATION 3's Yellow Light of Death

Every console has it's faults. All Xbox 360's have a 33% chance of receiving the "Red Ring of Death" at any given time. Fortunately, this PLAYSTATION 3 "Yellow Light of Death" is more of a 1% chance.

A member of GameTrailers reported this in video form on the site. He believes it may be due to a hard-drive problem because of the clicking noise. I would recommend trying to replace the HDD with a better bigger one. If not, call Sony.

EDGE Magazine Features New Far Cry 2 Information

Far Cry 2 was recently announced to be coming to the next-generation consoles known as the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360, with no details about the game given. The latest issue of EDGE corrects that mishap.

The gameplay is going to rehaul the type you saw in the original Far Cry game, and feature a new leveling up system. When you being the game, you'll become infected with malaria. As the game goes on, you discover a medicine that cures your disease, and the more you take, the more resistant you come to getting injured. If you loose access to the medication, things may become unpleasent, and quickly. Description: your character will turn into a vicious vomiting mutant.

Also new to this title is a reputation system. Your actions will influence your stance with two bands of rebels. The mapin point of the game is to murder a powerful arms dealer, but you need to prove your self a worth ally to one of the rebel groups. As you gain popularity with the group, more comrades will join you in battle and even help defend you when your surrounded by the gun.

More information on this game as it comes.
