Remember that Marvel Fighting game everyone was getting so excited about a while back? Well, it was in development by EA Chicago, which was closed down just last Summer 2007.
Well, today Marvel Interactive confirmed its deal with EA has been called off.
"Electronic Arts and Marvel have jointly agreed to discontinue development of Marvel fighting games under the Electronic Arts brand," said Justin Lombros, VP of Marvel Interactive. "This was a business decision based on Electronic Arts portfolio strategy and will not affect Marvel's ongoing plans to release fighting games based on the Marvel properties in the future."
Marvel wants to continue working on their character-based fighting game, but they have not revealed anything about the developers/publishers that might be involved.

Official: GameStop No Longer Stocking 80GB PLAYSTATION 3
It seems that Best Buy isn't the only one dropping the 80GB SKU of the PLAYSTATION 3.
Major gaming retailer, GameStop, hasn't been receiving shipments of the 80GB since November. They have, however, been receiving large shipments of the 40GB SKU.
PSU was able to contact GameStop and they have found out that it is official. GameStop and EB Games are no longer receiving shipments of the 80GB PLAYSTATION 3 units.
What could Sony have up their sleeves?

It's nice when gamer get recognized. For the first time ever, Guinness World Records will be releasing a special version of their book dedicated to all gaming records, facts, and figures.
According to a Guinness spokesman, they are doing this "Because the gaming industry is too big to be contained in just a few pages of the annual book. Rock Band Microphone Spotted in the Wild
The Rock Band Microphone along with drum sticks for the Rock Band Drumset have been spotted at a Best Buy in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
The microphone is going for $50 with no mention of the drum sticks. Even though they announced the Drumset and Guitar are going on retail next month, the microphone was missing from the announcement. It makes sense for in stores.

HAZE: Free Radical & Ubisoft Speak on Delay
If you haven't heard, HAZE was delayed for the around sixth time a few days back.
The head of the HAZE game project spoke on the delay.
"It's not something we do lightly. Everyone at FRD and Ubisoft is more than aware of the fans on here and how patiently people have waited for the game and we would like nothing more to put out the finished game right now.
"But that's the thing of it - the game isn't finished. There's still some things we'd like to polish and refine, and while it may seem like we're ignoring you guys by delaying it, it's precisely *because* of you guys that the delay has happened - because we want to make sure the game is as good as it can be when you finally get your hands on it."
They confirmed that HAZE still remains an exclusive to the PLAYSTATION 3 as well.
"A Ubisoft rep has denied the game will be heading to any other platform, reaffirming that HAZE remains a PlayStation 3 exclusive - when it will actually hit stores is still to be announced."

Certain items you find can be combined that you find. Such as tap and toxic spray, you can combine the two. There is a variety of different combinations that are usable.
The game features episodes such as you would see in LOST, where each one leads to more character development. Alone In The Dark is set for release Spring 2008.

To Cheap to Buy a DUALSHOCK 3 Controller?
If your too cheap to buy a completely new DUALSHOCK 3 controller just to feel some rumble in your game, then there is always this option.
PEGA's Vibrating Bag snaps on to your controller and brings rumble into your hands. Thats at the cost of some new bulkness to your controller.
Another downside of this product is you need to plug in this other piece to your PLAYSTATION 3 and it has a huge antenna sticking out of it. It comes with a built in radio too though, for some strange reason.
So if your really that cheap, go ahead and take a chance.

120GB PLAYSTATION 3 Is Just "Rumor and Speculation"
There seems to have been some rumors lately duee to the fact that some stores are stopping sales of the 80GB PLAYSTATION 3.
According to the rumor, a 120GB PLAYSTATION 3 is supposed to be replacing the 80GB SKU. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
Sony Computer Entertainment UK dismissed this as "rumor and speculation". This doesn't mean it can't be true however.
