Grand Theft Auto IV: IGN Review 10/10
Well, the first video review for Grand Theft Auto IV is finally here, and it is from IGN. The written review also has the "better-looking version" section. Lets take a look.
"For those wanting to know which version looks better, the edge goes to the PS3. The textures and framerate are comparable, but the PS3 has far less pop-in. The 360 has richer colors, but the PS3 has better anti-aliasing making it look a little cleaner. Because GTA IV can preload onto the PS3 hard drive, the in-game loads are faster. Don't worry Xbox owners, the load times are rarely more than 30 seconds and don't occur very often. The slight visual edge goes to PS3, but the 360 is no slouch. Either version will do you proud."Yeup, the PlayStation 3 won that, but I'm sure both versions of the game play exactly the same. Tuesday cannot come any sooner.

Electronic Gaming June 2008 Rumors and Grand Theft Auto IV Review
The latest issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly comes packed with content. They revealed a new Splatterhouse retro revival title for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, along with showing some other previously seen retro revivals due to hit consoles.
Their rumors column was interesting this month. Lets take a look.
- Bioshock to hit PlayStation 3 in September 2008 with better visuals and all the downloadable content, around the same time that they will reveal some of Bioshock 2.We are excited about these rumors for the most part.
- Max Payne 3, Red Dead Revolver 2, and a Grand Theft Auto MMO (possibly) in the works.
- L.A. Noire is no longer a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
- Persona 4 to hit North America before 2008 ends. Persona for PSP and PlayStation 3 in the works.
- Rock Band 2 is in the works with new game modes.
- 3D Castlevania for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is in the works.
- Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle to be very limited. Pre-order while you can.
The ne wissue also reviewed the one and only Grand Theft Auto IV, giving it all perfect scores, besides one (A+, A+, A). Regarding which version of the game is the right to buy, they said "360 for DLC, PS3 version looks slightly more vibrant and sharp". I guess those reports are true then.

Update: IGN has contacted 2K Games on the Bioshock for PlayStation 3 rumor and they responded with a "No Comment." That usually means they have something to hide.
SOCOM: Confrontation on Latest 1UP Show
The latest episode of the 1UP Show featured some new gameplay of SOCOM: Confrontation. Right now, I'm totally in the Grand Theft Auto IV hype mood, so I'll save this for another day.

PSW Grand Theft Auto IV Review: 10/10
We are beginning to wonder if we should keep posting up these reviews as we know they are all going to be perfect or just-perfect. PlayStation World magazine has reviewed Grand Theft Auto IV and has given it a 10/10, adding to it's pack of perfect scores.
The review confirms the SIXAXIS controls as well. You can use it for driving vehicles, flying, and driving boats. They also say you can use the SIXAXIS to reload your weapon by simply giving it a flip upwards. Remember, these are all optional. If your looking for scans, hit the link below.

The Orange Box: This Is Exactly Why We Need a Patch
If you are wondering why we keep on posting these series belonging to The Orange Box petition, it is because we are fed up of going into a server in Team Fortress 2 and find moving weapons or weapons stuck in the walls. Or going in to get disconnected hundreds of times. Or playing Portal and getting killed only to wait 30 seconds to respawn. Or playing Half-Life 2 and dying due to that crappy frame-rate. Or once again playing Team Fortress 2 to realize we don't have all the features we should. Watch this new video from the petition above, and you'll realize why EA is slacking, and we need a patching.

Metal Gear Online Beta Gets v1.02 Patch
First, people who pre-ordered Metal Gear Solid 4 received redemption code errors (such as 9-digit codes, etc.) for the Metal Gear Online beta (people like me). Second, we had to sit through a download lasting hours for the v.101 patch for Metal Gear Online. Third, there was problems with registering for a Konami ID. After that, the beta was delayed. One problem of a beta if you ask me.
Wait, there is still hope, only one more patch (v1.02) until freedom. This one is smaller than the last and the release notes offer an apology for the "inconvenience and frustration" that most of us experienced. The patch will "modify the way in which the beta client connects to our server."
Hopefully by tomorrow, the game will be up and running.
[Oh look, another Metal Gear Online patch]

Well, the Siren: New Translation demo is live on the Japanese PlayStation Network, so you are probably wondering how it looks and plays. If you don't want to play and prefer to watch, KurowaSan of NeoGAF has made a video for us to enjoy. The game certainly is a dark game, we can tell you that much. View the demo video above or download it here.
