Infinity Ward started out as a bunch of developers working on EA’s Medal of Honor series before leaving to set up their own studio. We caught up with Grant Collier, the founder of Infinity Ward, and used all our Extended Interrogation Techniques (i.e. torture) on him to get some answers on the company, and the highly anticipated Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Okay, we know already that the imported version of the DUALSHOCK 3 won't be supported by Sony. But games from companies like Insomniac Games will. So that means if you pick up Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and get an imported DUALSHOCK 3, you can get rumbling the day you receive your controller.
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction won't need an update upon using the DUALSHOCK 3. The bad part is finding an online retailer with the DUALSHOCK 3 in stock.

The IGN blog for HAZE gives us a nice in-depth look of the weapons of HAZE. The one you see above is called The ‘BlackSaw’ - BSW-72 Assault Rifle, this is your standard rifle, but theres nothing standard about it. This little killer fires rounds made from depleted uranium, meaning that not only do you kill your opponent, you give them radiation poisoning too.
View the in-depth weaponry at the link below.

Bethesda Softworks sent over a note announced they will release their last downloadable content extra for 2006's fantasy RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The download, titled Fighter's Stronghold, will launch on Oct. 15 for both the PC and Xbox 360 versions and for the first week will be free to download. Here is a snip:
"Defeat the attacking marauders and become lord of Battlehorn Castle. Located in the Colovian Highlands west of Chorrol, this expansive castle will allow you to live the life of a noble warrior, with private quarters, grand dining hall, wine cellar, barracks, training room and more. And what castle would be complete without a few hidden passages and dark secrets?"Features:
"Since we’re talking about DLC, I thought I’d update you with what’s going on with the PS3 version of Oblivion. We are close, very close to working something out to bring Shivering Isles to PS3 owners. That may be in downloadable form via PSN, or as a standalone retail disc, or both. I can’t say definitively yet that it will happen, and I definitely can’t say when. But it’s looking good, and hopefully we’ll have good news soon. Don’t have anything I can tell you about any other DLC, but Shivering Isles is the one we get asked about all the time, so I at least wanted to update folks on that."Hopefully the Oblivion gamers can enjoy Shivering Isles soon.

Today, the PLAYSTATION 3 has sadly lost a very good exclusive.
Monster Hunter 3 was originally planned as a PLAYSTATION 3 exclusive title. Today, Capcom announced that the title will be released as a Nintendo Wii only title.
They explain to Games Industry. Capcom’s managing corporate officer Katsuhiko Ichii told Thompson Financial that:
“Due to high development cost of titles for PS3, we have decided to switch the platform to which we release our Monster Hunter 3 title.”I'm very disappointed to see this as Monster Hunter is a great franchise and would of done very well on the PLAYSTATION 3.

Over at the HAZE official IGN blog, they introduce to use some new Nectar abilities:
Nectar Perception: While on Nectar, your enemies will become far more visible to you, even if they are hiding in the shadows or foliage.Pretty cool abilities if you ask me.
Melee Blast: Performed the same way as the normal melee attack, but with 10 times the power, thanks to Nectar.
Nectar Resilience: Bullets won’t bounce off you, but you’ll certainly take less damage from them.
Nectar Focus: When you are sniping or using the zoom function on your helmet, Nectar will give you a new level of focus, helping you aim and making it easier to kill in one deadly accurate shot.
Nectar Foresight: If you are in danger while on a Nectar high, a visible “pulse” will ripple outward from the point of threat. This could be a grenade at your feet, or someone about to melee you from behind.
