Here is a walkthrough of They that PS3Fanboy was lucky to get. There's a big robot invasion and they kill people without reason, as acts of terrorism. Enjoy!

Today is Moore's second day on the job. Moore confirmed that the NHL, NBA, and FIFA franchises will all be coming to the PlayStation 3 this year. "All making their next-gen debut on my new favorite platform," he said to palpable laughter. After using a PlayStation 3 controller for a demonstration, the executive quipped, "Yes, he's holding a PS3 controller. Cute."
Referring to the Madden series and asserting its "18 years of constant innovation," Moore then moved the briefing into announcement territory.
EA Sports GameShow will allow players to compete against eachother in the realm of sports trivia, with questions streaming to participants via text, audio and video. The PC game will be free to download and play, and provide new programming on a "daily basis."
Moore brought quarterback Alex Smith of the San Francisco 49ers to the stage to demonstrate the new title. The first question posed to Smith: "A young English football star who lead Yale high school to a national championship in 1974." The answer? Peter Moore.
As Smith prepared to leave the stage, Moore noted that the 49ers will be playing the Arizona Cardinals in the next few days. Smith responded, "It's only the Cardinals."
In talking on his company's recently announced football title NFL Tour (PS3, X360), Moore described the game as being a "more arcade experience" in comparison to a game like Madden. "It allows you to extend your football experience through Spring," he said.

First, it was delayed to the Summer of 2007. Then it was delayed to an all console release to October 9, 2007. Now, we PlayStation 3 owners have to wait just like we did for many other games.
Valve director of marketing Doug Lombardi confirmed that the PlayStation 3 version of The Orange Box "will trail the PC and Xbox 360 versions by a couple of weeks."
I guess that's all that needs to be said. Whats with all these PlayStation 3 delays?

According to Sony, the new slim PlayStation Portables are out in the wild. You'll still have to buy the silvery systems as part of the $199.99 "Entertainment Pack," which comes with a copy of Daxter, the Family Guy -- Freakin' Sweet Collection on UMD, and a 1GB Memory Stick.
Oddly though, JoyStiq called up their local GameStop and they said that they have no dates for the system, and it's not in the system. Weird.

Dylan Jobe, a developer for Warhawk, posted on the US PlayStation Boards about an upcoming Warhawk Update:
There will be a maintenance window from 5am to 7am PDT on Thursday to allow us to deploy a fix for the occasional/random player drops. During these player drops the community would see the total world-wide player count drop between 1000 and 1500 players -- clearly not good.[Via US PlayStation Boards]
This problem will be resolved with this maintenance window.
We are now also tracking a new issue that some of you have been experiencing with simply not being able to go online with Warhawk at all. Some of you mentioned that you starting seeing the problem with the release of the new firmware 1.92 -- we have no proof of this yet but anecdotal evidence seems to suggest so.

Straight from IGN.
The latest chapter in the Final Fantasy VII saga is almost at hand over in Japan. Just in time's for Crisis Core's 9/13 release, the editors of Famitsu managed to gather executive producer Yoshinori Kitase, producer Hideki Imaizumi, director Hajime Tabata, and character designer Tetsuya Nomura for an interview touching upon all areas of Crisis Core's development, and possible future developments from the staff members.
On the topic of Crisis Core, Tabata disclosed just how huge the game is, noting that it almost fills up a full UMD-ROM. He feels that the game is well balanced so that players of all level will be able to clear it. However, advanced players can look forward to over 300 missions outside of the main storyline. These are tough, but players can get a bit of extra help on their second time through, as the game lets you start a new game with your past character data.
A bit of trivia for those interested in how Crisis Core came about. Tabata disclosed that the project originally began with the idea of making a port of Before Crisis, the mobile entry in the Compilation series. Before Crisis (as well as Final Fantasy Agito XIII) are Tabata's projects, so Kitase approached him with the idea. Brought into the discussion, Nomura suggested instead that they make something with more meaning to the Compilation, and so was born the idea of making a game about a soldier who'd previously not been addressed in the Compilation, Zack. This entire decision process took just two days, Kitase joked.
Outside of Crisis Core, Famitsu editors asked about new developments in the Compilation series, noting that players are hoping for a FFVII remake. Yes, questions about a remake of FFVII are required whenever interviewing Nomura and Kitase.
Tabata avoided the remake issue entirely, instead pointing out that Square Enix will be distributing a new episode of Before Crisis for mobile players simultaneously with the Crisis Core release. This episode features Reno as the main character.
A remake of FFVII is a question of timing, Imaizumi said, noting that Kitase, Nomura and Tabata are all busy with the Final Fantasy XIII series. He added that a new game of some form will be announced at the Tokyo Game Show. We're not sure if he's referring to a new game in the FFXIII series or a general new title from Kitase, Nomura and Tabata. Either way, we're already excited.
This new title appears to be separate from the new Kingdom Hearts project that Tetsuya Nomura has previously confirmed for a TGS unveiling. Asked about the announcement, Nomura simply asked readers to look forward to it.
Imaizumi closed off by confirming once again that there are currently no plans for a FFVII remake. However, he noted that this could change rather quick, alluding to Kitase's comment about how the decision to make Crisis Core took only two days.

It's September 6th (in Japan) rightnow. If you remember, Toshihiro Nagoshi announced back at the PlayStation Premier event in Japan that his team's new PlayStation 3 project would be revealed at a Tokyo Game Show briefing to be held on September 14th.
If you look at Sega Japan's official Yakuza website, you'll see a countdown message currently flashing the number "8" (it's written in Japanese, and there's a knife through the message, but it's definitely an 8). IGN did the math: " 14 - 6... carry the 1... 8!".
The IGN conclusion? A new Yakuza game is going to be announced for the PS3 at a press conference on the 14th!
And that, would make my day right there. Yakuza was a great game on the PlayStation 2, so it should be on the PlayStation 3.

Alone In The Dark, a multiplatform title for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC has been delayed on the PlayStation 3.
The Xbox 360 and PC versions are still on schedule to arrive before the end of the publisher's fiscal year in March 2008. However, the PlayStation 3 version will follow later on a date yet to be announced.

A moderator on the Midway Games Community has just confirmed a Stranglehold demo which is set to hit PSN this week among the regularly scheduled PlayStation Network updates this Thursday. This is good news for fans of the game who have been waiting as I have. Hopefully with this update will come skate too.

• The game “isn’t that far off”Also, it is going to be a one console exclusive, the PlayStation 3. Below, we have Star Ocean I and II for PlayStation Portable:
• Specific details on SO4’s release will be available by the time people are done playing the SO1 and SO2 remakes
• In its current stage the battles are already playable, but full of placeholder elements
• The story is done, and while he can’t talk about its setting yet, there might be some surprises related to that at the TGS. But it won’t be so different that characters from other games in the series won’t be able to return.
• He concedes that past Star Ocean games have not really felt like they were set in an ocean of stars. In this one you will be able to pilot a ship and travel to different worlds, and while it will retain fantasy elements, it will live up to the series’ title more than the previous games in the series have.
• The man and woman in the screenshot are the hero and heroine of the game. As a teaser they placed figures of them in the display at the SE party and he was disappointed that almost no one noticed.
• The heroine’s name is Reimi. The hero’s name is Edge Maverick!
• There aren’t just two or three planets in the galaxy this time. There are more. Sounds like a lot more.
• You can have four companions with you in battle this time. There are a lot of new elements and it doesn’t really feel like the battle system of SO3.
• Private Actions will, of course, return.
