Dusty PLAYSTATION 3 Featured on FOX News

FOX News recently did a report on dust PLAYSTATION 3's which is quite humerous due to an article over at Consumerist where the PLAYSTATION 3 was too dusty to be repaired due to health hazards. Give it a watch.

lol, this is just sad. Although I must admit that the dude who sent it in is a bit stupid for not cleaning the console up before sending it in. Regardless, I still think Sony should fix it up.

I love the way Fox News glosses over the pictures like, "it's not THAT dusty", totally ignoring the fact that the dust is more like caked on dirt.

I can't even believe they would go on with this story as though there was no negligence by the owner. The system is disgusting! And shame on Fox News for not digging deeper into this guy to make sure he's just not some slob. Judging the PS3 he sent in I'd wonder if he even knows what a duster looks like let alone a bar of soap.

Should Sony have fixed it? Maybe. At some point you have to draw the line. Otherwise people will take advantage because you don't lay the law down.

Also, this thing that there are SO many stories on the net about dusty systems is a bold face lie. Never before in the year of the system's release has a story of this magnitude been talked about. Why? Because no one in their right mind would treat a $600 piece of equipment with such an utter lack of responsibility.

I'll shut up now.
