Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe has released a new video today displaying their upcoming TiVo like accessory for the PLAYSTATION 3. PlayTV allows you to view, record, and save TV programs with the touch of a button and no subscription fee. Currently, this is only coming to Europe. Hopefully though, it will reach our shores. My guess is that we'll get this in 2009 when all TV's go digital.
Now if this thing can work through my DirecTV that would be friggin' sweet but I know that's just a pipe dream.
