PLAYSTATION 3: Lack of Multiplatform/Movie/TV Games?

I've noticed throughout times that the PLAYSTATION 3 lacks a certain type of multiplatform game, or a movie or TV game. Some of these games, even though we do not play them, attract a younger audience as well.

I'm talking about games such as:

- Jumper: Griffin's Story (X360, PS2, Wii)
- Bully: Scholarship Edition (X360, Wii)
- Space Chimps (X360, PS2, Wii, DS)
- The Spiderwick Chronicles (X360, PS2, Wii, DS, PC)
- Avatar: The Burning Earth (X360, PS2, Wii, DS, GBA)
- Bee Movie (X360, PC, Wii)
- Crash of the Titans (X360, Wii, PS2, DS)
- Rayman Raving Rabbids (X360, Wii)
- Crash: Invasion of the Bandicoot Snatchers (X360, Wii, PS2, PSP, DS)
- Thrillville: Off the Rails (X360, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS, PC)
And much more. Personally though, I'd like to play Jumper as I really enjoyed the movie.

Now I ask, why do companies only bring these kind of games to the Wii, PS2, and Xbox 360, but don't include a PLAYSTATION 3 version. The Xbox 360 is just as "family oriented" as the PLAYSTATION 3, so whats the problem? Top of that, the other consoles seem to get a constant flow of casual games as well, while all we have to wait for is those big releases. The thing is those consoles have more third-party support than the PLAYSTATION 3 does, and thats what it needs.

I think it just comes down to a marketing stand point.

Right now the aforementioned consoles are doing great.

Coupled with that fact that the ps3 is supposed to be the "high-end" console, its generally believed its too expensive for the younger audiences. So, there will no doubt believe its basically a waste of time to port it on it.
