PSM3 Reviews: Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, & More

The latest issue of PSM3, a UK based PLAYSTATION 3 magazine, comes jam packed with some great new reviews. Take a look at those below.

Assassin's Creed 81%.
Overall: All the basic mechanics are there, but kinks in the design keep Creed from greatness.

Call of Duty 4 94%.
Overall: A triumph of set-piece design, special effects and impeccable FPS action. Mindblowing.

Need for Speed ProStreet 79%.
Overall: A touch repetitive, but a confident, high speed, return to form for Need For Speed.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga 80%
Overall: Terrific games but TCS is pointless if you've played them before. But if you haven't, get it.

Beowulf 41%
Overall: An avoidably bad game with shoddy design and a lame, thankless combat system.

The Simpsons Game 70%
Overall: Flimsy platformingand lame combat, but so funny its hard to care. Fans will go nuts.

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men 58%
Overall: Bland characters, action-by-numbers. Easily the most disappointing game of 2007.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock 90%
Overall: Nothing much new - except for the most dazzling playlist to grace the series yet. Great.

IGN Reviews Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

IGN has reviewed LucasArts' new Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga and scored it an 8.0 out of 10. They close their review with:
"If you were hoping that The Complete Saga would push the series into new territory, you'll be disappointed. At its best, the game is a well-polished collection of a pair of quickly-ageing gems. At its worst, it feels a tad stagnant, and we hope TT's upcoming LEGO-based games, LEGO Batman and LEGO Indiana Jones take the idea in a fresh direction. So aside from the camera controls, not-so-snappy studs and some problems with pacing in a handful of places, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a solid game, and one of the rare titles on Xbox 360 and PS3 that the family can safely sit down together to play. If you've waited until now to try Lego Star Wars, this is definitely the game to buy. If you've already visited this far-away snap-together galaxy, you've probably seen it all before."
