According to the latest game selling charts, yesterday, the first day of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue's release in Japan, the title sold nearly 50,000 copies. This is good news to hear for the game. It should be out in North America early 2008.

Must have on day one. Doubt it'll see sales like Halo 3 did on day one but it will do well, and possibly better, over the long term.
I read in the Playstation Official Mag that one of the networking features will give users a MySpace-like page to show off their cars, interact with friends, and (I assume) upload videos from their best runs.
I'm sure whatever they're planning to do to expand the world of GT will have more broader appeal giving the PS3 even more attention as THE system to own. And finally with games like GT the system's power is being showcased.
