Resistance: Fall of Man & It's Home Features

Insomniac's Resistance: Fall of Man is expected to have a huge presence in Home. The game will provide Home visitors with an interesting room to explore, letting game owners visit unseen areas of the game and view bonus content in the form of intrecepted radio transmissions between the European and United States forces.

These transmissions will show us more of the Resistance series' story. It's said that Home avatars will be able to roam unpopulated levels.

We got to admit, those are some sick plans. We know Home integration is coming for nearly every first party title, but Sony really needs to encourage third-parties.

Like Nintendo couldn't do with the N64 and the Gamecube, Sony cannot carry Home on their own. They have to get first- and third-parties invested in uploading content to keep the experience of Home fresh.

However, a problem exists. Developers will now have to either take time away from making games to making Home content or spend more money to hire a team to work specifically on Home content.

Maybe Sony could provide a skilled team of Home developers to third-party companies to do create the content based on their vision for the space.

Either way, Sony has to get more developers involved. They have enough on their plate as it is. Having to do ALL the creating of Home content would be horrible. We'd barely see an update if Sony was the only one driving this service.
