PlayStation 3 Advertising Art is Impressive

Two new images of what seems to be a new PlayStation 3 advertising campaign have surfaced on Ruliweb today. No information was given on where this appeared, but they did list the people who did these impressive ads.
Advertising Agency: BBDO Chile
Executive Creative Director: Joaquin Bascunan
Creative Directors: Cristian Schinadeerman, Emerson Navarrete
Art Director: Emerson Navarrete
Copywriter: Cristian Schinadeerman
Illustrator: Ricardo Salamanca
Photographer: Lautaro
Head of Art: Fernando Riveros
That is really all they mentioned. We don't know when and where these will appear, but they look stunning.

$10 bucks says this is a campaign for another country.

This would be AWESOME for the U.S. but we'll probably never see this here.

The attention to detail is beyond words. Unbelievable.

The screens look nice and all but do they mean or represent?

It could be almost anything but how about honoring the most powerful system on the planet by creating a statue of an honored gamer that was a great player of the system or...

I really have no idea. I'm just making this up as I go along but this is why I don't think this campaign will ever launch here.

If for no other reason than the fact that it looks too much like the Soviet Union during the persecution of the Jews.

I don't think it's offensive but someone in the U.S. will find a way to hate on it.

I love it. I love the little details like the Playstation shapes all over the place. It's almost like a Where's Waldo of sorts too. Especially the one with the statue of the kid. I found the X, square and triangle but not the circle. Unless that wagon wheel represents the circle (?).

-Hey Jose, is this gona be your new Desktop Background?
-HELL YEAH.

Man, that was awesome. Is amazing the amount of ditails on that pic. But also, it's confusin. I was like, "ok, where is the Ps3?" then i found the countroller and other things. ^^ Alot of people are gonna miss that part.

Seems that the two ads sneakily point to GOW III for the first image and to Killzone 2 for the second one.

These possibly represent Sony only just getting started with this Generation, paving the way to great things :)

I think it may well be a nod towards Home and the achievements/rewards etc that are on their way.

WTF!? You cant be serious...The Russians had nothing to do with the persecution of the Jews. That was the germans! You need to brush up on your history...

Anyway...awesome campaign!

Oops!!! HUGE opps!!! Sorry everyone.

I had Russians on the brain for whatever reason. Major brain fart.

I kept thinking about that and argued with myself a few times before typing it out. Kind of like when you look at a word too long and it starts to look stupid. Like "own". You say it a few dozen times and eventually it doesn't make any sense and spelling it doesn't get any better.

Seems weird, in the second one, the men working near the top of the statue seem tiny compared to those on the ground right by the statue. Maybe its just me and how I'm looking at it. They're very nice though. I don't think there's more to look into except that the PS3 is a monumental console.

Actually, they represent the games we are currently are playing now. The one with the girl has all kinds of monsters that look very much like the God of War type games (fantasy) and the second one I would say Call of Duty type or any other war game we are all playing now.
