SingStar Hitting North America May 20, 2008

Sony Computer Entertainment announced today that SingStar, already released in Europe, will be hitting the PlayStation 3 in North America on May 20, 2008.

SingStar will also be playable later today at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in California. You'll be able to get up on stage in-front of a live audience and sing your heart out. After, players will be able to check out the SingStore and view all the songs to be available upon the game's release.

Okay, Sony. We need NO LESS than 5 new videos EACH WEEK!!!!

If Sony claims they're having licensing problems I'll kick the first Sony rep I see in the junk.

If Rock Band can get almost a dozen new songs out each week since the game debuted there's no reason Sony with all it's entertainment muscle should be outdone by Rock Band.

Although Rock Band doesn't have music videos running in the background so it's easier for them in a way. But Sony should be releasing several new music videos every week and try to stay current with the latest and greatest.

This will be the game that will finally get my wife into using the PS3 for more than playing music and watching movies.
