Jaffe: Twisted Metal PS3 Is His Next Project
Looks like Extra Twisted Edition was right. Brian Crecente of Kotaku was able to contact Jaffe who is at DICE this week. Jaffe seemed disappointed his "Twisted Metal is coming on PSThree" code was cracked so early (read linked post).
He confirmed it's coming but left no comment on whether it will be on a Blu-Ray disc or a downloadable title.

Twisted Metal IS Coming to the PLAYSTATION 3
David Jaffe did mention that their latest title would be hidden on Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition, and the guys over at GameFAQs were able to crack the code.
In the Dark Past video featured on the game disc, random numbers display throughout the video such as "19 23 9 18". If you put all these numbers together in alphabetical cousins, it spells "Twisted Metal is coming on PSThree".
Jaffe, you sly dog. Did you think the gaming community couldn't figure it out? Well, pretty clever. We'll have more on this when we find out.

Thats right folks, if you head down to your local game stores right now (not sure about GameStop), you can pick up your copy of Capcom's newly released Devil May Cry 4 or Eat Sleep Play's newly released Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition.
If I manage to conjure up some cash, I'll probably pick up Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition since it's only going for $19.99. For those of you picking up Devil May Cry 4, it's going for $59.99.

Jaffe Hinting at PLAYSTATION 3 Twisted Metal Title?
In a new blog entry on the PlayStation.Blog where David Jaffe reveals a plethora of information regarding the upcoming Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition, he hints at something that Twisted Metal fans have been wanting for a while.
"Oh, and have I mentioned that buried deep within this mammoth package is the answer to a question that TM fans have been asking us for quite a while now? No? Oh, well now I have. But good luck finding it! It’s buried pretty deep!"Could Jaffe be hinting at a Twisted Metal game coming for the PLAYSTATION 3? "Let's hope so" seems to be all we've been saying for the past day.
In other news, Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition is only going to cost $19.99 upon it's release, it includes four lost levels from Twisted Metal: Black, and comes with a documentary on the series.

God of War III Fan-Made Teaser
KazamaFury of GameTrailers posted up a fan-made trailer of the upcoming PLAYSTATION 3 title, God of War III. There is no footage of God of War III to be found, as that would be impossible at this state. The professional quality of it is astounding though. If you didn't know it was fan-made, you'd think it was the real deal.

David Jaffe: Eat Sleep Play Logo Revealed
David Jaffe revealed his logo for his Eat Sleep Play game developer studio today. David Jaffe explains it to the Level-Up crew, drawing parallels between the games he plans on making and soda. Weird, we know, but the logo is still awesome.

Level Up: David Jaffe Interview
NewsWeek has recently done an interview with Eat Sleep & Play's David Jaffe. They started:
You were just telling me that you're walking into your soon-to-be old office. How does it feel to be leaving Sony?
Let's see. It's weird because in so many ways not a lot is changing. I mean, I'm still working with the same team, in the same capacity. I've worked with those guys at Incognito; we're just in the same company now. Me and Scott [Campbell], the co-presidents of Eat Sleep Play, are still reporting to Allen Becker who runs Santa Monica, so the day-to-day operations of our new business don't really change. So I don't think that part feels any different.
When I first told my boss that we were leaving, there was a little bit of nostalgia; not sadness because we're totally excited to do this and there's never been a question of should we do it. Once we made the decision to do it about eight months ago, we've never been like, "Yeah, let's rethink that." But I do remember driving from, Santa Monica back to San Diego and I had, downloaded the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack—it was kind of big at the time and I don't know if you've seen the movie, but there's this song they sing that on their farewell tour and that was playing right as I was driving away from Sony after I told my boss, "Okay, we're leaving." And I got a little misty eyed. What the hell was that song called?
