Toy Home 2nd Gear Releases on JP PLAYSTATION Store

The Japanese PLAYSTATION Store just received Toy Home 2nd Gear. This is an expansion to the original Toy Home and includes new cars, new levels, and new modes for only 500 yen ($4.50 USD).

There is no word on a US or EU release. Once we find out, we will be sure to update you.

A pretty fair update if you ask me, but my mind still wonders "Where is the SmackDown vs. Raw 2008, US Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, or even HAZE demo?"

It seems Live is going to be receiving a Kane & Lynch: Dead Men demo soon as well. Sucks we didn't get it now, due to the Thursday updates only, if we have hope, we need to wait till next week.

Toy Home: Japan Gameplay Videos

Toy Home is Game Republic's latest title, which is coming soon to the US as a PLAYSTATION Network downloadable. Over in Japan, it's already available for download, but we will be receiving it sometime this month. All in all, it looks like a title for the zany and fun type, or possibly kids as well. Toy Home is looking like a racing port of Toy Story to me. I'm not all that interested in this game, maybe if they were to add more than just racing you know? Just not that much of a car fan I guess. Anyway, enjoy the trailer.

Toy Home Driving Japan Toys Wild November 1

The official site for upcoming PLAYSTATION Network title developed by Game Republic, Toy Home, is up and reveals some new details. For one, it will be downloadable on the Japanese PLAYSTATION Store starting November 1, 2007.

The game is going to cost 800 yen and will be 629MB in file size. Toy Home will feature single player, two player, online, and battle modes and also support rumble as well. The game will also sport a replay feature.

Toy Home Developers Reavealed: Game Republic

Hmm, we never noticed that the developers of Toy Home were never mentioned, but now we know. The developers behind Toy Home are the same people who made Folklore and Genji, and thats Game Republic.

The game is planned as a Japanese-exclusive download for now, has SIXAXIS support for steering the cars, but also will include support for rumble. No word on a US release.
