If you don't know, Capcom's Devil May Cry 4 was released in Japan on January 31, 2008. If you look at the sales of both the console versions of the game, the PLAYSTATION 3 version is clearly ahead of the game.

- Devil May Cry 4 PS3: 140,000 Sales
- Devil May Cry 4 X360: 30,000 Sales
Devil May Cry 4 is set to release in the United States on February 5, 2008 and in Europe on February 8, 2008.

Hey OnAxis,

Which one are you getting (Xbox360,PS3) and which should we spend are money on? What are the pros and cons?

If you pay attention to crappy screenshot comparisons most would suspect the 360 version to be better but I think the differences are going to be marginal.

While 1Up says that the PS3 version looked better, which they may be wrong about since they were playing an unfinished build, but they did say that the PS3 version controlled better based on the button layout of the SIXAXIS.

As for the sales, I don't think anyone should be surprised since the 360 is pretty much an afterthought in Japan. The true measure of the game's success will be hashed out in the states.

@ UrbanCowboy

We are currently waiting on Devil May Cry 4 for the PS3 (obviously, thats what the company sends us) to come in the mail. We usually get games a bit later than other sits, considering we aren't as big. But we'll be sure to have a review up.
